There are certain moments in life that make you pause and reflect... not on awards or recognition, but on the people, experiences, and purpose that brought you there.

I have the honor of being recognized as one of Modern Luxury Nashville's 2026 Power Players, alongside an incredible group of leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and philanthropists who are helping shape the future of our city. To be included among so many accomplished individuals is both humbling and inspiring.

The recognition comes on the heels of my recent feature as a cover story in Modern Luxury Nashville, where I had the opportunity to share my journey, my passion for science, and the mission that continues to guide everything I do.

For me, these moments have never been about personal accolades. They are reminders of the responsibility we all have to use our talents, knowledge, and platforms to create meaningful change.

Nashville has played an important role in my journey. It is a city built on creativity, resilience, entrepreneurship, and community. Over the years, I have been fortunate to build businesses here, develop partnerships, support philanthropic initiatives, and connect with people who genuinely want to make a difference in the world.

As a scientist, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, I have always believed that innovation should serve a greater purpose. Whether through health and wellness initiatives, sustainability efforts, educational opportunities, or humanitarian work, my goal has remained the same: to help improve lives while creating solutions that leave a positive impact for future generations.

The Power Players event is a celebration of individuals who are leading in their respective fields, but what I appreciate most is the opportunity to be surrounded by people who are actively investing in the future of our communities. These conversations, collaborations, and relationships are where real progress begins.

I am deeply grateful to Modern Luxury Nashville for this recognition and for highlighting the work being done by so many leaders throughout our city. I am equally grateful to my family, friends, colleagues, partners, and the countless individuals who have supported me throughout this journey. No achievement happens alone.

As I prepare to attend this year's Power Players private celebration, my focus remains where it has always been: continuing to learn, continuing to serve, and continuing to build solutions that help people around the world live healthier, more empowered lives.

The recognition is appreciated, but the mission continues.
