This past week was a reminder of the power of community, connection, and shared purpose.
We had the privilege of welcoming ROOT ambassadors from across the country to Nashville for several days of education, collaboration, and meaningful experiences together. From the moment everyone arrived, the focus was not just on learning more about our products and company, but on building relationships that will continue to make an impact long after the weekend ended.
We kicked off the experience by welcoming everyone into our home. There is something special about gathering around a table, sharing stories, and creating space for genuine connection. Throughout the evening, we enjoyed great conversations, plenty of laughter, and the opportunity to get to know one another beyond business.
As part of welcoming everyone into our home, I shared a tour of my closet and the story behind Merci Dupre Clothiers. It sparked conversations about sustainability, creativity, and how fashion can be an expression of both personal style and values.
The following day, we visited 111 Motorcars before heading to Franklin Social. These experiences gave our ambassadors the opportunity to connect, share ideas, and continue building relationships. One of my favorite parts of gatherings like these is watching people from different backgrounds come together through a shared commitment to helping others.
That evening, we gathered for dinner at the newly opened Pelato location in Franklin, just minutes from our office. Over great food and conversation, we continued sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and strengthening the connections that make our ROOT community so special.
The next day, we welcomed everyone to The ROOT Brands headquarters for a deeper look into our company, our mission, and the science behind our products. Education has always been at the heart of everything I do, and it was inspiring to see our ambassadors engage, ask thoughtful questions, and continue growing as leaders within their communities.
We then made our way to the family farm in Dexter, Missouri, my hometown and the place where my roots truly began. Sharing this part of my life with our ambassadors was incredibly meaningful. Growing up in a small farming community taught me lessons about hard work, gratitude, resilience, and the importance of family that continue to guide me today.
At the farm, we enjoyed art contests, a scavenger hunt, and plenty of time outdoors. One of my favorite moments was cooking with my mom and sharing that experience with our guests. Bringing together family traditions and our ROOT family created memories I will cherish for years to come.
To conclude our time together, we headed to Broadway to experience the energy, music, and spirit that make Nashville so special. It was the perfect way to celebrate a weekend filled with learning, friendship, and shared purpose.
As I reflect on the week, I am grateful for every ambassador who joined us. The ROOT Brands has never been just about products. It is about people. It is about creating opportunities for growth, building meaningful relationships, and working together to make a positive impact in the world.
